Serverfarm's 432 MW Arkansas Campus Will Start on 40 Gas Turbines
Serverfarm's $6.6 billion Arkansas campus will run its 432 MW first phase on a 660 MW, 40-turbine Solaris gas island while transmission catches up.

Clarksville, Ark., Oct. 19 — Serverfarm's $6.6 billion data center campus in Clarksville will generate its own electricity for a first phase of roughly 432 MW, using a Solaris Energy Infrastructure gas island of 40 turbines whose air permit the Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality has approved.
The Technical Details
Phase 1 covers four buildings that will each draw about 108 MW, roughly 432 MW combined. Clarksville Connected Utilities (CCU) peaks at about 50 MW, and city officials were told its transmission system cannot deliver the campus load.
Solaris Resolute, a Solaris subsidiary, will build the plant on leased city land next to the campus. Its Title V application lists 40 simple-cycle combustion turbines rated 16.5 MW each, with permission to run all 8,760 hours of the year. Serverfarm says it will stay grid-connected and shift most supply to contracted solar and storage as the campus grows.
- Phase 1 IT campus load: 4 buildings x ~108 MW = ~432 MW
- On-site generation: 40 simple-cycle turbines x 16.5 MW = ~660 MW base load
- Permitted runtime: up to 8,760 hours per turbine per year
