NVIDIA DSX POD Puts 504 Rubin GPUs in a Container, Live in 14 Days
NVIDIA's new reference design ships seven Vera Rubin NVL72 racks pre-wired and pre-plumbed in a 28-tonne container. The pitch is time to first token, with partner deliveries from early 2027.

Berlin, Oct. 21 — NVIDIA introduced DSX POD at GTC Berlin, a reference design that puts seven Vera Rubin NVL72 racks, 504 GPUs and 252 Vera CPUs, into a factory-built container that the company says can be running at a prepared site in as little as 14 days. A conventional onsite build takes about six months, according to NVIDIA.
Partners do the cabling, wiring, piping and functional testing before shipment, so the site only has to provide power, cooling, networking and supporting infrastructure. NVIDIA lists Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Eaton and Foxconn's Ingrasys among about 17 builders, with deliveries worldwide from early 2027.
The Technical Details
Each container weighs about 28 metric tons, The Register reports. Rack power, rack-to-rack cabling and liquid cooling are installed at the factory rather than on site, which NVIDIA says cuts exposure to component delays and error-prone field work.
