Polar Data Centers and Crusoe will add 40MW of liquid-cooled IT capacity at Polar's Tørdal campus in Norway, with the new DRA02 data center expected to go live in late 2027, according to a Polar release published on Crusoe's newsroom on October 21.

DRA02 is planned at 40MW of IT capacity, next to the 12MW DRA01 now live, according to the Polar release.

The expansion follows DRA01, the first Tørdal facility, which is now live with 12MW of IT capacity and runs Crusoe Cloud, the companies said. Polar and Crusoe first announced the DRA01 partnership in June 2025. Polar said DRA01 is powered by 100% hydroelectric energy and combines modular infrastructure, advanced cooling and resilient electrical systems built around the latest GPU deployments. DatacenterDynamics also reported the new deal.
DRA02 is also hydro-powered. Crusoe plans to deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale systems there for its AI cloud expansion in Norway.
