Pennsylvania, October 19 — Eos Energy Enterprises reported preliminary third-quarter 2026 revenue of US$82 million to US$83 million, the highest in its history and up roughly 169% to 172% from a year earlier.
Eos makes zinc hybrid cathode batteries, a non-lithium chemistry for grid and industrial storage. Shipments rose about 23% from the prior quarter as its second production line at the Thorn Hill plant ramped up.
The Technical Details
Line 2 supplied about 17% of output and reached first-pass yield in line with Line 1, meaning a similar share of units passed testing on the first try. It still runs a partial shift while Eos hires and trains staff.
Q3 marked the eighth straight quarter of gross margin improvement, though the company is still losing money on each sale. Operating cash inflow was about US$114 million, helped by deposits, milestone payments and tax credits, plus US$87 million drawn from a Department of Energy loan.
