AMD, Talen, Vistra Earnings Nov 3-6: AI Hardware and Energy Week Ahead

Talen Energy, AMD, Supermicro and Arm report earnings on Nov. 3 and 4, and Centrus, NuScale, Oklo and Vistra follow on Nov. 5 and 6, so the week tests whether chip and power suppliers confirm hyperscaler spending.

This is the follow-up to our Oct. 25 look at the Microsoft, Amazon and Samsung week. Every date below comes from a company announcement except the timing of Centrus's release, which is expected, and none of these results exist yet.

Tuesday, Nov. 3 Earnings: Talen, AMD and Supermicro

Talen Energy said on Oct. 13 that it will report third-quarter results on Nov. 3, with a call at 8 a.m. ET. The line to watch is the Susquehanna nuclear supply deal with Amazon Web Services, which we covered at up to 1,920 MW through 2042. A power purchase agreement (PPA) is a long-term contract to buy electricity at agreed terms.

AMD said on Oct. 6 that it will report fiscal third-quarter results after the market close on Nov. 3, with a call at 5 p.m. ET. The MI455X accelerator and the Helios rack are the product story. We reported that Helios racks entered testing alongside a $1 billion AMD investment in Meta equity, and that the MI455X leads NVIDIA's Rubin on paper.

Supermicro holds its call the same evening at 5 p.m. ET. In an Oct. 20 update it estimated first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion, against prior guidance of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, and said the gap came mainly from demand for AI platforms. Those figures are unaudited estimates; the final numbers could differ.

Wednesday to Friday: Arm, Centrus, NuScale, Oklo and Vistra

Arm reports fiscal second-quarter 2027 results after the close on Wednesday, Nov. 4, with a call at 2 p.m. Pacific (5 p.m. ET), according to the company's Oct. 5 announcement.

Centrus is expected to publish third-quarter results after the market close on Nov. 4, with a call listed for Thursday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m. ET. We could not open Centrus's own page, so treat the release timing as expected. Its enrichment plans are the context: Centrus shipped the first Piketon centrifuge and targets new capacity in 2029, and General Matter's Paducah application was accepted with an NRC review aimed at April 2028.

NuScale Power holds its third-quarter call on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. ET. Oklo reports before the market opens on Friday, Nov. 6, with a call at 8:30 a.m. ET. Vistra reports on Friday, Nov. 6, with a call at 10 a.m. ET; its Comanche Peak PPA with AWS is up to 1,200 MW with a ramp by 2032.

Regulators and deals on the edge of the week

Our earlier story on the Naver-NVIDIA deal says Naver delayed NVIDIA's $1 billion share payment to Nov. 6, with the stake not yet closed. Whether it closes that day is not confirmed.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission hearing-request deadline for the Amazon-Dominion North Anna small modular reactor (SMR) site is Nov. 10, the Tuesday after this week ends, per our report.

What is not confirmed yet

Dates can move, and we have not read any result. Centrus's release time is expected, not confirmed. Earnings-call dates say nothing about guidance, capex or contract terms; those arrive only with the releases. We will report them when they are published.
